Danielle and Heather first met in beauty school in 2004. They became instant friends and found passion in more than just being a "hairstylist", but in the art of making people feel beautiful while connecting with them unlike anyone else could.

After years of hard work, they decided they wanted to partner up and open up a salon unlike the rest. A salon that truly put their clients first, while creating a safe haven people could retreat to, to feel beautiful, while truly being themselves. They opened their first Lucid salon in 2009 and after much success, their 2nd location in Elgin followed.
